History: Discovered in New Guinea, a large skeleton was said to have belonged to an evil race of giants that would only rise again when the world was ready for them. Unfortunately, a scientist looking for fame and glory found the skeleton, and took it to his lab. But the skeleton will spring to life if put in water, and mistakes are indeed made.
Notable Kills: None.
Final Fate: After accidentally being bathed in rainwater, the monster angrily returns to the scientist's household, demanding the index finger he cut off for research. It's all soon revealed to be a story from the now asylum-bound scientist, so how much of it was real?
Powers/Abilities: Has telekinesis and mild mind control.
Weakness: Needs water to function.
Scariness Factor: 4-You leave this thing in the sun-bleached desert, immediately. This guy is certainly imposing with his tall frame, and his body is generally hideous.
Trivia: -Director Don Sharp, at the very last minute, was replaced by Freddie Francis.
-There have been lots of stories of unearthed bones of absolutely tall humanoids. A notable example is the "Giant of Casttelnau", which refers to what could be the largest ancestor of man (about maybe 11.5 feet tall) based on three bone fragments.
